Inspired by the Engelina tie dress, we have created a similar dress for older children. The dress features a wide skirt that tapers into a more fitted bodice. It has broad shoulder straps.
Knitted in Cotton Wool 3 from Gepard Garn, the dress is light and airy - perfect for warm summer days, but it can also be worn with a thin sweater underneath on colder days.
The dress is knitted in the round from the bottom up, over the shoulders, and finally grafted together for an invisible finish. The neckline is picked up and knitted last.
