A slightly different Christmas hat that pairs nicely with the Amélie dress. The braided edge at the front of the hat is knitted back and forth to the correct length, then joined with the open stitches from the cast-on edge. Stitches are then picked up along one side to form the body of the hat. The rest of the hat is knitted in the round shaped using decreases (k2tog). For the final touches, make a pom-pom to attach at the end.
